Polish Association of Doctoral Candidates (KRD), in accordance with The Law on Higher Education and Science [Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce Dz.U.2022.0.574 t.j.], has the right to express opinions and submit motions on matters relating to all doctoral candidates, including issuing statements on normative acts concerning postgraduate candidates. Polish Association of Doctoral Candidates appoints two of its representatives to the Central Council of Science and Higher Education.
